Ava's Birthday Pictures

Jimmy and I brought Ava to get her first birthday pictures taken yesterday. Wow, she didn't want to sit and take this pictures. At first, she was reaching for me the entire time, so I had to go hide. Then she kept trying to get up. But once they brought out the presents, she was fine! It was so cute to watch her! I can't wait for her party this weekend!

Easter 2008

We had a wonderful Easter at Jim and Sue's. Sue made a fabulous meal as usual, and there were plenty of family and friends to share it with. Ava had a blast with Cousin Bryan and all of here aunts, uncles, and grandparents! She was spoiled by everyone as usual, and she loved the Portuguese Easter bread she shared with great-grampie Jim.

She's off and walking!

Well, after a few weeks of taking a few steps here...six or seven steps there. Ava Grace is off and walking. She's everywhere!I can't believe how fast she picked it up, and how good of a walker she is already! She's still the fastest crawler I've ever seen, so she does resort to crawling a lot too...but she is a walking machine! I love her!!!!

Lot's Going on...

We had a busy week this week. We went to meet Jack Aloisi, and he's so freakin' cute (pics to follow)! Pinto and John looked great, and I know Pinto (aka Martha) will be an awesome mom. Ava liked meeting her new boyfriend. She hopes she has more on the way! For like 3 seconds I was thinking...I want another one! Then I remembered the lack of sleep, and decided another one can wait a little while longer!

This weekend we're continuing to work on the basement. We have a ton to do. I hope it's ready by Ava's first birthday party. We're trying to get every bit of space out of our little house!!!
