"Bye Bye Daddy"

Jimmy's off to New Orleans this weekend for Murph's bachelor party. Looks like Ava and I will be on our own!!!I am going to a wedding this weekend... by myself...but it should still be fun! Not that being pregnant at a wedding is a blast...right????

First day of the new business went great. We had more students than we expexted... which is great! I am really excited about it, and I think it's going to be really successful! Yah!!!

Busy Weekend!

The Machados are enjoying some much needed relaxation today...gearing up for the Pats game! I feel like we haven't stopped all weekend! Friday night we went to dinner with the Renos. We just did Uno, since the girls are louder and noisier these days. But I had an awesome salad...and the new potsticker appetizers were amazing!!! Saturday I had to teach dancing in the morning. It was so fun to be back teaching the little ones. First, I had the 3 year olds and then I had the 4 & 5 year ols. They were super cute!!! My mom took Ava to Kindermusic, since I can't do it on Thursdays anymore. Then Katie, Meg and I headed down to Hyannis for Cath's bachelorette party. We just went for the day, since a pregnant girl isn't too fun at the bars! It was fun, and I'm sure they all had a blast that night. After that, we headed to the McDonald's for some pizza and beers (water for me). It was good to get all the kids together and tell they guys all the gossip from the day. We were so tired today, that when Ava went down for her nap...Jimmy and I took one too! Gotta love 4:00 games!

So weird...

This is the first time since I was five years old that I have not started a "school year." I'm so happy to be home...but it's definitely a strange feeling!

We had a blast in NYC! The US Open was awesome! We saw some great matches! My favorite was the battle of the giants: 6'10" Ivo Karlovic vs 6'5" Sam Querrey of the US. Querrey won in three sets! I got some awesome pictures too! I stalked the practice courts and was able to see Andy Roddick (shirtless) and James Blake getting ready for his night match! It really was so much fun!

Off to NYC

So, we are off to NYC for the US Open tomorrow!!!! I'm excited to see some good tennis, but I hate leaving Ava overnight. She'll be staying with Grammie and Grampie and having some quality time with them. Jimmy and I will get to sleep past 7:00 am, which sounds AMAZING!!!! I miss her already! Happy Labor Day!

Some New Pics

New furniture...new dining and living room!

Jimmy, Ava, and I purchased some awesome new furniture this weekend! We hit Jordan's Furniture in Avon, and we got some great deals. We found a dining room table (exactly what we were looking for) and hutch in their clearance section. We also found a great tv stand for our new tv in the regular section. We really lucked out, and now we just need to get some chairs to go with our new table, but I think I already found them online...So, Sue is helping me redo the walls in our dining room and living room so there is more of a flow. We are putting a paintable wallpaper in the living room, because the walls are so bad...Oh...old houses! Gotta love them! We got a good amount done today, and hopefully we'll get some painting done tomorrow! We're very excited to get this done, because we've been talking about it forever.
